What the APK release details mean

Understand the filename, manifest version, Android requirement and SHA-256 on the download page.

Start with the filename

An APK filename and its manifest version describe different things. Use the app version, package name and SHA-256 together when comparing files.

Read the manifest version

The file’s Android manifest reports versionName 1.0 and versionCode 1. Its package identifier is com.teenpattivexora.qeltrionyx. The website preserves that identity instead of renaming the binary.

Four different file details
  1. APK

    Android installation file format.

  2. 1.0

    Version reported by the manifest.

  3. 58.8 MB

    Download size, not installation space.

  4. SHA-256

A fingerprint of the file’s bytes.

These details identify a file. They do not verify the publisher or certify app safety.

Check size and device requirements

The APK contains 58,822,105 bytes, shown as 58.8 MB using decimal units. It declares a minimum Android API level of 21, corresponding to Android 5.0. Enough storage is also needed to install and run it.

Understand the fingerprint

SHA-256 is a fingerprint of the file bytes. Matching the published fingerprint helps establish that a downloaded file is the same file. It does not establish that an app is safe or that its publisher is verified.

Keep publisher information separate

A filename, package identifier or matching fingerprint is not a substitute for a verified publisher identity. The download page marks publisher information as awaiting confirmation.
